Anne Hall has joined Taupo Medical Centre as People and Culture Lead.
You may remember Anne who was the practice manager here from 1997 to 2007.
Anne studied law and has a wealth of experience in customer service, management, HR and accounts.
She is looking forward to working with staff and patients to maximise the TMC experience for everyone.

Meet Dawn, our experienced GP who brings a wealth of knowledge to our practice. With her medical training from Newcastle University Medical School and experience working in hospitals across the UK, Dawn is well-equipped to provide excellent care and advice to our patients. She has a keen interest in emergency medicine, travel medicine, and family planning. In her free time, Dawn and her family enjoys outdoor activities such as mountain biking. We’re excited to have Dawn as a part of our team, and we know that our patients will benefit from her expertise.
Deborah is originally from the UK, where she trained in Medicine. She is dual qualified in Law and practices both Criminal Defence Law and General Practice. Her experience encompasses work as a Prison Doctor, a Police Medical Officer and a Chief Medical Officer at ANZ Bank and Teladoc (Best Doctors). Deborah has three children, lives in Auckland and provides services remotely and face to face. Deborah enjoys technology both at work and as a hobby, in her spare time, she enjoys reading, knitting and pampering her three English Bulldogs.

Nicola studied Pharmacy at the Welsh School of Pharmacy in Cardiff, Wales and worked for the NHS, UK before moving to New Zealand in 2005.
She is one of a small number of NZ registered Pharmacist Prescribers in New Zealand, having completed several post-graduate qualifications.
Nicola enjoys all aspects of general medicine and she has skills in optimizing medicines for patients with long-term conditions e.g. diabetes, cardiovascular health and gout.
Outside of work, Nicola is a qualified Girl Guide leader and plays the clarinet for the Taupo Concert Band.

Graeme is proud to have served the Taupo community since 1993. Graeme’s interests are cradle to the grave medicine, he has an interest in chronic healthcare, geriatrics and psychological wellbeing for all. Graeme’s interests include his lifestyle farm which has a menagerie of animals with a number of ‘exotic’ pets and whilst Graeme has been limited somewhat physically due to ongoing spinal issues he has a keen interest in a variety of outdoor activities and a passion for flying and motorsport.

John is a Texan American, he completed a Family Medicine Residency at the University Texas Southwestern in 2012. John has worked at the Taupo Medical Centre as a GP since 2016. John is a proud husband and father of two girls, Emmy and Eliza. John enjoys golf, tennis, BBQ and hoppy IPA’s.
Dale has twenty five years of senior business management & governance experience across a range of industries, with the last ten being in the Health & Fintec sectors. More recently Dale’s focus has turned to entrepreneurial business development, new ventures and company governance.
Dale joined TMC as the Independent Chairman back in 2018 and in 2020 took on the role of Executive Director.
Dale holds several other directorship and is a Chartered Company Director with NZID

Giles trained in the UK before moving to NZ in 1993. Giles joined TMC in 2005 after a stint working overseas in Canada and Germany.
He loves his work especially the privilege of sharing people’s journeys. His special interests include sports medicine, respiratory conditions and skin lesions.
Out of work he is a keen cyclist and loves being outdoors enjoying this beautiful region.

Alastair has been with the TMC since 1984. Alastair has a Diploma of Musculoskeletal Medicine as well as a Diploma in Sports Medicine, he has completed papers in Addictive Medicine.
Alastair was a Rugby Referee for King Country for over 40 years and has received awards related to this achievement including the Tom Nealon Award for achievement. Alastair is a proud husband, Father and Grandfather.

Angela’s interests include Woman’s and Adolescent Health and Minor Surgery and Procedures. Angela’s interests outside of work include gardening, walking her dogs and tramping.

Nola’s interests include walking her dog, yoga and enjoying all that Taupo has to offer.

Kelly has completed 20 years nursing experience in rural and remote community and emergency settings in both Australia and New Zealand.
Kelly’s passion in indigenous wellbeing has enabled her to pursue her current role as a Nurse Practitioner. Kelly provides a complete consultation, using best practice to provide holistic patient/whanau care. This role also gives her the opportunity to promote equity in health which empowers community wellbeing.

Emma lives with her husband and three children and they are enjoying exploring this beautiful part of New Zealand.

Rachel has a background in Auditing, Financial and Management Accounting and enjoys getting stuck into the numbers.
Rachel loves getting away at the weekends with her husband and young daughter to explore New Zealand in her campervan.
